HPV: Published Proof of Concept: Clinical/Competitive Performance for HPV testing – “100+ variants, 13 targets, one reliable result. Simple”

Human Genetic Signatures has released a product (kit) for High-Risk HPV detection (13 high risk subtypes) based on its proprietary 3base™ technology which is performing well in clinical trials. Results have been published* and are available for more than 1000 patients.

A genotyping option is also available for all 13 high-risk subtypes.

Human Genetic Signatures has both in-house and partnering resources dedicated to a development pipeline, now underway for these three community/Healthcare Associated Infections using its 3base™ technologies.

Versions of these products are planned for 2009 on partner platforms and as stand-alone kits.

Hepatitis C Virus: Ultra-sensitive screening for HCV and all variants using 3base™ - Industry-standard performance for the detection and viral load monitoring of all HCV subtypes

Human Genetic Signatures has developed an analytically validated, high-performance HCV detection assay, at sensitivity consistently achieving <10 viral copies per reaction, (over 350 clinical samples have been tested to date). This performance augurs well for 3base™ applications for both screening and viral load monitoring when adapted to any one of a variety of suitable NAT instruments.
