Human Genetic Signatures has a number of patent families. Currently, a total of ten patents have been granted in Australia, 2 in Europe, two in China, and one each in the US, Singapore and New Zealand.

Current Technologies

 

  • Simplification of Genomes for Microbial Detection (3base)
    Treating naturally occurring nucleic acids with bisulphite and using the result to detect pathogens and disease. Broadly applicable. Five inventions in patent family to date.

  • Methylation Detection Kits - MethylEasy
    Developing and launching research kit to enable R&D organisations to detect methylation patterns in DNA. High performing upgrade recently launched (MethylEasy Xceed). One invention in patent family to date.

 

Emerging Technologies

 

  •  Methylation Detection Research for DNA
    A variety of methods and techniques to explore these phenomena in nucleic acids and also in combination with Simplification. Five inventions in patent family to date.

  • Isothermal Amplification
    A method for amplification and detection of nucleic acids at a fixed temperature. One invention in patent family to date.

  • Cell Monitoring
    Determination of cell type by methylation pattern discrimination. Longer term concept. One invention in patent family to date.
